Lots of new dates have been added for the 2011 schedule including some great festivals!!!
On March 12-13 Drymill Road will be headlining at Chateau O'Brien in Markham Va for the 5th Annual Saint Patrick’s Weekend Celebration.
On July 3rd the band will be heading to Basye, Va for BryceFest 2011.
On September 10th the band will be in Hedgesville, WV for the 5th annual Pickin' in the Panhandle.
We are still working on additional festival dates and we will keep you posted!!!

Happy Holidays to everyone out there!!! Drymill has taken a much needed break for the last few weeks but we are ready to get back out there. We have lots of good shows in the works for 2011....stay tuned!!!

Last week DMR was asked to record an instrumental that will be used for an upcoming TV spot to promote an upcoming event in 2011.
The band decided to record a Sean Loomis original that we have been playing on the road. The song has already been mixed and sent out and we hope to have more details soon!!!

We just came off of a 5 day run through the eastern shore of Maryland, Mercersburg Pa, and Charlottesville Virginia with great success.
Along the way Sean and Robert did a radio spot at WOCM 98.1 FM in Ocean City and squeezed in a visit to the Berlin Md Fiddlers Convention.

This Friday (Oct1) check ot Drymill Road in Blue Ridge Summit PA. The band will be playing The Unique Bar and the show starts at 8pm.
Saturday night the band will be in Strasburg Va playing Cristina's Cafe. Show time is 8pm.
Both venues are new to Drymill Road and we are excited to visit new places and see new faces.

Drymill Road added to playlist at two radio stations!!!!
NBRN FM contacted the band about a week ago and ask that Drymill Road send some material to the station so they could add our music to the rotation.
The music has been sent and now we just need a little help from our fans!!!
NBRN is an FM station serving the Nashville area so if anyone can call and request some Drymill Road that would be great!!!
Another station that contacted us: Celticradio.net; This is an internet radio statio that is available to everyone. Please contact the station and let them know that you would like to hear Drymill Road!!!

July is going to be a very busy month!!!!
Last night our visit to the studio was very productive. The 4 original songs that we recorded back in May have been edited and are ready for the mix down.
We are discussing 4 additional songs to record for the project but have not decided which to use....Sean writes so many good ones its hard to pick just 4 more!!!!

Robert will be in Ocean City Md. July 8-11 playing with long time friend and brilliant song writer Nate Clendenen.

On Tuesday night May 25th, Drymill Road went to the studio for the first session of the bands new recording project.
Our goal was to get 3 to 5 songs recorded and we got 4 so it was a good night. All of the tunes we recorded are Sean Loomis originals that have never been "officially" recorded.
The next session will be on June 1st!!!
This will most likely be a "mixing and fixing" session and Doug is going to lay down some harmony tracks like only he can.
We are trying to keep the sound "live" so overdubs will be frowned upon.
Also, on May 21st Drymill Road won the Battle of the Bands at Cave Ridge Vinyards.
The winner was decided by the audience as each person was given a ballot to vote for their favorite band. Thank's to everyone who voted for Drymill Road!!!
The prize is an opening show for the Cherryholmes band on September 4th at the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival!!! We are very excited and can't wait to share the stage with Cherryholmes!!!

Ahhh yes, The first full length Drymill Road CD is getting oh so close to
completion! Its been a long time coming but well worth the wait. The
CD will feature 8 original songs written by our fearless leader
Mr. Sean Loomis. We are in the final mix and mastering phases and cant
wait to hear the final product. We are hoping for a February release with
a big release party...or two...or three!!! Stay tuned.

The live recording at the Barn's of Rose Hill went so well that we have decided to make a LIVE CD!!! We are working with the engineer to mix it down and will keep you posted!!!

Well folks its been a very busy summer and we are wrapping it up at a great festival called Pickin' in the Panhandle in Hedgesville WV on 9/10!!!
